    After the Mana Shield's HP reaches zero, mitigation starts to work on the Unit's HP.

    Buff wipe still removes more than 100 defensive and offensive effects that could be used by an opponent... We removed specific buffs that caused a lot of A.I. issues or game breaking situations.

    We only touched non-Stat Boost spheres that were above Alim's design, they are still meta even after those changes.

    Every piece of content that absolutely requires Mana Shield the way it used to work will be balanced to remain doable after the Mana Shield changes.

    About Mock Units, I cannot answer when exactly, but I can confirm it would follow the "vanilla" way. ;)

    Every Japanese content is on the planning, but I can't give you an ETA for the moment.

    It has been discussed, at length. After those long debates we decided to not let them go above 15%, following Alim's rules of design for these types of Spheres.

    We think those spheres are still meta and really interesting despite the changes we're making, but if time proves us wrong, we can still modify them at any moment. All in all, they must stay meta sphere, so player feedback will be heavily monitored.

    The first intention was to put a fixed DEF value on the Mana Shield, but some issues prevented us from doing so. It added some bugs such as Units taking more damage than expected (so putting a 0 DEF value added the same issue), that's why we chose this safer solution to have Unit DEF but no Mitigation.

    Passive mitigation will not be taken in account for the Mana Shield like the active ones (= Krantz, Elimo, etc...)

    That's one I can answer! In no way did we ever state that we were going to be different on purpose.

    What has been said, many times, is that the European server does not necessarily follow the exact same steps/schedule for content releases as the other servers, as the difference between development teams changes the way game content and updates are handled.

    Let me first establish that the teams working on EU-Exclusive content and those working on bringing over Japanese content work independently and do not share the same schedule. However, it is true that for far too long we prioritized our in-house content, meaning EU-Exclusive. This has changed months ago and we do intend to catch up with releases like Legacy Evolutions, for instance, at a fast pace.

    We applied changes on game mechanics/rules, not the Units themselves, after we discovered various issues during this Summer concerning upcoming vanilla content. We still think those Units are very strong.

    It's a decision that can be compared to when we changed the mitigation formula, which affected a lot of Units, EU-Exclusive or not.

    This option was studied at one point, but we quickly concluded that preventing a player from using their Unit is completely unfair.

    Unit descriptions, stats and skill kits are still the same, we've only modified the rules of how specific skills are applied in the game.

    We do keep in mind that the Mana Shield and Buff wipe helped a lot for our most difficult dungeons. That's why, in the near future, we will discuss any possible rebalancing for these dungeons. We haven't begun this yet, so we have no more information to share at the moment.

    UBB debuff for mitigation broke the game concepts behind upcoming content.

    For Perceval, we did not affect Angel Idol as it is a part of what defines this Unit's kit/identity and it was prominently featured when we revealed him.

    Whenever we make changes, we keep in mind an important rule: always see if modifying game rules can lead to the desired results, as we will always want to avoid making changes directly to our Units.

    As stated above, we avoided directly touching the stats of Units.

    Many players were complaining about it because it takes too many resources. The Rift and its Character Spheres are our new way of giving that exclusive feeling.

    We are definitely working hard on reducing the time gap.

    As I said in an earlier answer, every content from Alim (excluding collaborations) is planned to be released on our version, including Grand Quests and the updated Frontier Gate.

    Looks like that has been taken care of! :p

    Indeed, I believe we need to stop playing with that toy. :) The change to UBB buff wipe is something that will greatly help us when designing challenges.

    We are thinking about adding Characters Spheres to most of our EU-Exclusive 7-Star Units (current and future ones!), giving more options to those units.

    If you're thinking about lowering stats or removing a part of their kits, no, it's not planned.
